I can’t even explain to you how crazy this past weekend was! My best friend got married so as you can imagine there was lots of running around and hanging out with friends from out of town all while battling a cold! It was such a great time but I am paying for it today.
Anyways, for those of you interested in my lifestyle favorites, this is the post for you!
Aside from fashion and beauty, anything lifestyle related is my absolute favorite things to read and watch youtube videos about. I love seeing what other people are loving at the moment, especially if it is products that can help me in my everyday life.
My Lifestyle Favorites:
Mrs. Meyers Apple Cider Multi-Surface Spray
Every time you use this cleaner your house will smell like fall! They also have a mum scented spray and a pumpkin one if you would rather one of those. I love seeing what scents they come out with every season. Also, it does a great job at doing basic cleaning surfaces like countertops!
Eden’s Garden Anxiety Ease Essential Oil.
This stuff is amazing. You can use this oil in a diffuser or my personal favorite way is to bring it with me on the go! This essential oil never leaves my purse. I always put it on my wrists whenever I’m feeling anxious.
*You are supposed to use a carrier oil if you are applying it directly to the skin but I’ve never had any issues with it leaving a rash. But be warned!
Insight Timer App.
I use this app every single morning as a part of my morning routine. As I’ve mentioned before, meditating is a very important part of my life. It helps me not be as anxious throughout the day and have a more positive outlook on life. I also love using this app for their calming music. I always listen to a Throat Chakra song whenever I write my blog posts!
I have been really enjoying using this app to edit my Instagram pictures! It is very customizable and I love that so many people are coming out with Presets you can buy and use with it! I use Maddy Corbin and Marina McAvoy’s Presets.
This isn’t anything new but I love trying out new teas. Ginger tea is my one of my favorite teas to have on hand (and in my purse) because it has so many benefits. You can use it to reduce inflammation, soothe your stomach, improve blood circulation and so much more. Recently, I have really been getting into adaptogen teas. They are great for reducing stress, balancing hormones, boosting immunity and promotes cognitive function. This is the current adaptogen tea I have been using. I love using teas/herbs instead of traditional medication to heal my body whenever possible.
I’ve talked about this before but I don’t go anywhere without my Yeti! This cup is great at keeping your cold drinks cold and your hot drinks hot for long periods of time. I switched mine out for the lid with the straw. Also, It is also dishwasher friendly!
I haven’t been in the mood to workout or do yoga lately so I have switched over to yin yoga. I have never taken an actual yin yoga class but the youtube videos I watch are a very slow paced, mostly done on the floor. The idea is to relax into a stretch for 3 minutes or so to get a deep stretch and reduce stress in the body. This practice also has many other benefits such as more flexibility, calm the mind and body, increase mobility and so much more! Milani Baked Blush.
This blush formula is amazing! I have the shade Dolce Pink but Luminoso is beautiful as well. I actually ended up mixing both for my friend’s wedding! This blush is shimmery so if that isn’t your thing, I would keep that in mind. I usually never go for shimmery blushes but I really love how healthy looking this makes my skin look. I was talking with the makeup artist who did the brides makeup and she was saying how much she loves it too!
